EDMU 205 - Introduction to Multicultural Education
Examines social factors that affect teacher decision making and student achievement in United States schools. Addresses the need for intercultural competence, culturally informed instructional strategies, promotion of social justice, and reduction of racism and sexism in order to create democratic classrooms. Prerequisite: sophomore standing.
